Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – As many as 52 more Indonesian doctors died of COVID-19 in December 2020, making the total cases to 237 during the pandemic, the Indonesian Medical Association said on Saturday (Dec 2).

That number is higher than those in November and October when the death toll reached 32 and 24 respectively.

Of the total 237 dead doctors, 101 were general practitioners, 131 specialists, and five residents.

As of Saturday, Indonesia recorded 758,473 cases of COVID-19, with 625,518 patients have been recovered and 22,555 died.
