
Prabowo-Gibran enacted as Indonesia’s president-vice president elect

General Election Commission invited general chairmen and secretary generals of the parties participating in the presidential election to the enactory ceremony.
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) - The General Election Commission (KPU) enacted Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as Indonesia’s president and vice president-elect for the 2004-2029 period, in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24 2024.Previously (Tuesday), a Commissioner of the General Election Commission, August Mellaz said, based on Article 4 of KPU Regulation (PKPU) Number 6 of 2024, the enacting of the president and vice president-elect must be carried out no later than three days after the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK).The enactory ceremony was attended among others by candidate pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar.The General Election Commission also invited general chairmen and secretary generals of the parties participating in the presidential election as well as several related stakeholders including Indonesia’s National Police Chief and Indonesia’s Military Commander.Report: EditorialBagikan
