
Indonesia’s Halal Indo 2024 invites people to grow halal industry

Halal Indonesia 2024 aims to attract over 15,000 visitors from more than 35 countries, providing opportunities to enhance cooperation and investment in the halal industry.
Tangerang, Banten (Indonesia Window) – The Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo 2024, also known as Halal Indo 2024, is an international event aimed at encouraging the public to support the growth of the halal industry in Indonesia."Through Halal Indo, we are initiating efforts to raise public awareness so that they can understand the halal aspects that must be met by products in industries closely related to daily life,"Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, Eko SA Cahyanto, said during his remarks at the opening ceremony of Halal Indo 2024, held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE)in Tangerang city, Banten province, on Thursday.The Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo 2024, the first event organized by Dyandra Promosindo and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, will take place from September 26 to 29.Eko continued that these daily products include fashion and apparel, cosmetics, food and beverages, ceramics and tableware, pharmaceutical products, and more."Indonesia has immense potential in developing the halal industry. We encourage all parties to develop halal industries and products so that Indonesia becomes a global center for halal product production and a part of the global halal supply chain," he stated.In Indonesia, the requirement for halal product certification is regulated by the Law on Halal Product Assurance, as well as Government Regulations regarding the Implementation of Halal Product Assurance.
