Prof. Mike Hardy will carry out his obligations as an academic at LSPR at the Faculty of Business, the Distance Learning Program (PJJ) and the Post Graduate Program.

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The Institute of Communications & Business of London School of Public Relations (LSPR), again has had an adjunct professor, Professor Mike Hardy.

Prof. Mike Hardy will carry out his obligations as an academic at LSPR at the Faculty of Business, the Distance Learning Program (PJJ) and the Post Graduate Program, according to a statement from LSPR Jakarta received here on Friday.

“I am happy and excited to join the LSPR Communications and Business Institute as an adjunct professor. This Institute is a leading campus in Indonesia, with extensive partnerships,” Prof. Hardy noted.

The commitment to the practice and study of leadership in education is very appropriate, Prof. Hardy said, adding that the development of future managers and entrepreneurs can be carried out and get direct support from the aspirations of young people who join LSPR.

“We know that better leadership helps overcome many of the challenges we face in our economy and society. This 21st century university is uniquely placed to help us understand the complexities in which we work and live, and to help make the positive changes we need," he added.

The presence of Mike Hardy as an adjunct professor is also expected to encourage the improvement of the quality of international publications, provide opportunities for domestic university lecturers to collaborate and interact with world-class professors and support the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka program (independent learning – independent campus program).

The inauguration of Mike Hardy as an adjunct professor was carried out on Sept. 1, 2022 and witnessed by representatives from the Region 3 Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI), Anis Apriliawati, sub-coordinators of the qualifications of educators and foreign education personnel, the LSPR management and also its lecturers.

Different from his predecessor, Prof. Anne Gregory who focuses on public relations, Prof. Mike Hardy will specifically concentrate on the field of leadership.

Starting his first assignment, Prof. Hardy gave an explanation about leadership entitled "Developing Leadership Nature in Higher Education" to the LSPR lecturers at Prof. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall at the LSPR campus in Jakarta.

Along with these activities, the lecturers also gathered and met to discuss the preparation for the new semester which is usually called the lecturer's briefing.
