MAN (State Islam Senior High School) in Indonesia’s Malang city, East Java, was successful to be the Best Junior Male Participant in the Istanbul Youth Summit 2025 held  in Turkiye.  

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) 2 Malang City has once again achieved international achievement with Raditya Daneswara, a class X E14 student, emerging as the best junior male participant in the 2025 Youth Summit in Istanbul, Turkiye.

Raditya's success is inseparable from his dedication and hard work during a series of activities including seminars, discussions, and collaborative projects with participants from different countries.

The event is a strategic forum for the younger generation to broaden their horizons, engage in diplomacy, and strengthen global leadership values.

Head of Delegation of MAN of Malang City, Ahmad Thohir, who is familiarly called Mr. Yoga, expressed his high appreciation for the achievement, according to a written statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Religion on Friday (Feb, 28).

"We are very proud of Raditya's achievement that has made the name of the madrasah (the Islamic school) proud in the international arena," Yoga explained in Istanbul Turkiye, Friday (Feb. 21) last week.

This achievement, Yoga said, is inseparable from a leading program developed by MAN in Malang city, called MADU MANJA.

This program is designed to provide access to students to get various access to scholarship programs abroad, either through study exchanges or others.

"This is real proof that the MADU MANJA program of MAN in Malang city is able to produce a competent and globally competitive young generation," he said.

The Head of MAN in Malang City, Samsudin, was grateful and admitted that he was proud of the achievements made by his students in Istanbul, Turkey.

"Hopefully Raditya's success will be a motivation for all students of the State Islam Senior High School in Malang city to continue to work and achieve, wherever they are," he hoped.

The award adds to the long list of achievements of the students of MAN in Malang city at the international level. Raditya is expected to continue to inspire his friends to follow him in achieving global achievements.
