Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Masoumeh Mehravar, a midwife at an emergency call center in northern Iran, helped a mother trapped in snow to give birth to her baby at the end of February 2024.Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei praised the emergency medical personnel who saved a mother and her baby, according to a written press statement from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jakarta, which was received here on Monday.Via a telephone call, Mohammad Golpaygani, head of Ayatollah Khamenei's office, conveyed Ayatollah Khamenei's message of appreciation to the emergency medical personnel who worked hard in the rescue efforts.Masoumeh Mehravar, a midwife at the 115 emergency call center helped a mother who was trapped in snow in Jajan Village in Mazandaran Province, and who was eventually able to give birth safely.Mehravar, who received an emergency call on February 28, gave important medical instructions to the woman's husband, which enabled him to help his wife and save her and her baby's life.Meanwhile, heavy snowfall prevented ambulances from reaching them.Mehravar's voice of compassion as she guided his husband went viral on social media, and captured the hearts of netizens.When the husband managed to make the baby cry by following Mehravar's guidance, the dispatcher's emotions overwhelmed him and he cried, celebrating the moment with his colleagues.
