Muslim LifeFest 2024 boosts halal lifestyle trend, business growth in Indonesia

Muslim LifeFest 2024 will be in conjunction with two other major events, namely the Islamic education exhibition Muslim EduFest, and the Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference (JHEC).
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Muslim LifeFest 2024, which will be held again on August 30 – September 1 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Tangerang city, Banten province, is expected to enhance the halal lifestyle trend and the growth of various halal businesses in Indonesia."From the beginning, the Muslim LifeFest exhibition was actually held to strengthen the sense of brotherhood among Muslims. By bringing up the spirit of collaboration from various parties, together we move and strengthen the sharia economy in Indonesia,"the Chairman of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community (locally known its abbreviation as KPMI) which is the host of Muslim LifeFest, Rachmat Sutarnas Marpaung, told a press conference here on Thursday.In addition to promoting halal products, building awareness of halal brands and networking among business players, Muslim LifeFest emphasizes literacy and education about sharia economy and finance, so that it is expected to increase the inclusion of this sector in the country.With 200 booths and attended by 180 brands from different halal products and services, including those from abroad, Muslim LifeFest is expected to attract 45,000 to 60,000 visitors.Under the big theme 'the biggest and most comprehensive halal event' in Indonesia, this year's Muslim LifeFest will be in conjunction with two other big events, namely the Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference (JHEC), and the Muslim EduFest Islamic education exhibition by collaborating with the Indonesian Islamic Preaching and Education Institution Association (Puldapii).Muslim EduFest aims to be a means for the peeople, especially parents, to find information about Islamic schools throughout Indonesia, from kindergarten to college, Islamic boarding schools, and tahfizh boarding schools."If Muslim LifeFest is an event for B-to-C (business to Consumer), then the Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference will be a B-to-B (business to business) event for business people to expand their business markets abroad," Rachmat said.
