
Indonesian solidarity agency LAZSip gives free health checkup to people in West Java

Free health check-up has been provided by Indonesian solidarity agency LAZSip to people in Indonesia’s Bogor district, West Java province.
Bogor, West Java (Indonesia Window) – Being concerned about health problem, Indonesian solidarity agency LAZSip provided free health check-up to people in the country’s Bogor district, West Java province, in addition to collection and distribution of zakat.Some 200 residents of Pasar Selasa village, Ciampea sub district, Bogor district, West Java province, were coming in droves to an Islamic foundation in the village for a free health checkup organized by a zakat collection and distribution agency named Lembaga Amil Zakat Solidaritas Insan Peduli (LAZSip) on Sunday, November 30, 2025.The social outreach activity was held at the Ciampea Al-Quran Memorization Center complex, in collaboration with a health team that provides health services to people in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (all in Java), locally known as Tim Kesehatan Jabodetabek."This activity is aimed at local residents who are underprivileged or who still have difficulty accessing health facilities such as hospitals or clinics," LAZSip’s head Syaikh Muhammad Irfandi, Lc., on the sidelines of the social program.Syaikh Irfandi pointed out that LAZSip has held similar activities in several different locations and times. "We have been committed to holding this activity together with Tim Kesehatan Jabodetabek, “and we hope it will continue, but at different times and locations," he added.
