
Indonesian president appoints 12 ambassadors to fellow countries

Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Monday (June 26, 2023) appointed 12 ambassadors to fellow countries, at the State Palace, Jakarta. (The Indonesian Cabinet Secretariat)
12 Indonesian ambassadors were appointed at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (June 2). The appointment is based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51/P and Number 55/P of 2023.
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Indonesian President Joko Widodo appointed 12 ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary for a number of fellow countries, at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (June 26).The appointment was based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51/P and Number 55/P of 2023 concerning the appointment of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia, which was set on June 14 and June 23, 2023 respectively by President Joko Widodo.The appointed Indonesian ambassador are:- Teuku Faizasyah, Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Iceland;
- Michael Trias Kuncahyono, Indonesian Ambassador to the Vatican Holy See;
- Ahmad Rizal Purnama, Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey;
- Arief, Indonesian Ambassador to Ukraine and the Republic of Armenia and Georgia;
- Achmad Ubaedillah, Indonesian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam;
- Santo Darmosumarto, Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia;
- Grata Endah Werdaningtyas, Indonesian Ambassador to the Lao People's Democratic Republic;
- I Gede Ngurah Swajaya, Indonesian Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and Principality of Liechtenstein;
- Dupito Dorma Simamora, Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Fiji, concurrently to the Republic of Kiribati, the Republic of Nauru and Tuvalu;
- Meidyatama Suryodiningrat, Indonesian Ambassador to Romania and Moldova;
- Ricky Suhendar, Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Peru and Plurinational state of Bolivia;
- Saud Purwanto Krisnawan, Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Botswana, the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Kingdom of Eswatini, and the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
